The Astros are moving Brett Myers to the bullpen and they will use him as their closer this season. Myers was approached about the move early in Spring Training and agreed to it on Monday. "I wouldn't accept it if I didn't think I could do it, but it's going to be a challenge for me because it's something different," Myers said. "It's like taking a first baseman and moving him to third. I'm going to have to work a little harder to get my arm in shape to throw 20 or 25 pitches a night." Myers served as a closer with the Phillies in 2007. He was the team's Opening Day starter, but moved to the bullpen and earned 21 saves in 48 appearances.
