The Orioles aren't currently planning to sign Manny Ramirez to bolster their offense. Baltimore considered Ramirez, but as an organization they were never close to seriously pursuing him. A source said the discussion never got to the point where a proposal was taken to owner Peter Angelos for approval or even serious debate.
