The Rays have agreed to one-year deals with outfielder B.J. Upton and starting pitcher David Price, allowing them to avoid arbitration. Upton will earn $7 million in 2012, while Price will take home $4.35 million. Price made $1.5 million while going 12-13 with a 3.49 ERA in 2011. Upton earned $4.85 million last year, when he batted .243 with 23 homers and 81 RBIs.
