Edwin Jackson, who has been a member of seven teams in his nine-year career as a Major League pitcher, is seeking a hefty contract this offseason. The free agent right-hander is looking for a salary somewhere around $15 million to $17 million, according to a report by CBS Sports. The Yankees are in talks with Jackson because they don't want to part with the prospects if would take to land Matt Garza from the Cubs. Last season, Jackson went 12-9 with 148 strikeouts and a 3.79 ERA for the White Sox and Cardinals.
