A number of general managers are being forced to try and fortify their starting rotation via trade this winter. The prices for C.J. Wilson, Yu Darvish and Mark Buehrle proved to be too high for many and there was not a lot of depth on the free agent market either. The Reds kicked things off this weekend by acquiring Mat Latos from the Padres. There are a number of other starters that could be dealt before the 2012 season, including: Oakland's Gio Gonzalez, Atlanta's Jair Jurrjens, Seattle's Michael Pineda, Chicago's Matt Garza, Tampa Bay's David Price, New York's Jon Niese, Baltimore's Jeremy Guthrie, Houston's Wandy Rodriguez, Chicago's Carlos Zambrano or John Danks of the White Sox.
