The Angels have traded catcher Jeff Mathis to the Blue Jays in exchange for left-handed pitcher Brad Mills, who spent the bulk of 2011 in Triple-A. Mathis, 28, was the Angels primary catcher in each of the past three seasons despite a lifetime .194 batting average. Los Angeles acquired Chris Iannetta via trade earlier in the week.
