Moe Drabowsky, whose relief effort in Game 1 of the 1966 World Series helped set the stage for the Orioles' sweep of the favored Dodgers, died Saturday, The (Baltimore) Sun reported. Drabowsky, 70, who pitched for eight major league teams over 17 years, died at University of Arkansas Medical Center of complications from multiple myeloma. A resident of Sarasota, Fla., he had been a coach in the Orioles' minor league system until a few weeks ago.
