Mark Trumbo's walk-off home run gave the Angels a 2-1 victory over the Rangers on Thursday night, keeping the team's playoff hopes alive. Trumbo is the first Angels rookie to hit a pair of walk-off home runs in a season. "I hope we talk about this game in November," Angels manager Mike Scioscia said. "I hope we talk about this as a swing game." Before Trumbo's shot, the Angels were facing a four-game sweep at the hands of the Rangers, who now lead the American League West division by six games. "What is it, six games now instead of eight? It definitely helps out. Obviously, this is not the way we wanted the series to go. ... You never know, man," Jered Weaver said.
