Melky Cabrera hit in the No. 2 spot for the fifth time on Monday, and Joe Torre is considering leaving the youngster there, even when Derek Jeter returns to the lineup. With Matsui and Gary Sheffield out, Torre could use Cabrera behind Johnny Damon, lining up Jeter, Giambi and Rodriguez behind him. Cabrera has also hit leadoff three times this season. In the seven games at the top of the order, Cabrera is 11-for-32 (.343) with a double, a triple and six RBIs. "It's possible," Torre said. "We may look at that. It's certainly a reasonable question."
