Indians pitcher Carlos Carrasco's decision to appeal his six-game suspension for throwing at the head of Royals designated hitter Billy Butler was only a tactic to get him through his next start Wednesday against the Red Sox. "I think he's leaning toward dropping the appeal after he starts," Indians manager Manny Acta said. "I think we would lean toward him dropping it, too. We can adjust the rotation because of the day off [Monday]." Carrasco confirmed that he planned to drop the appeal.
