The Diamondbacks have acquired right-hander Jason Marquis from the Nationals. Marquis is 8-5 with a 3.95 ERA in 20 starts for Washington. Arizona will assume the remaining $2.47 million of his contract. The Nationals get minor league infielder Zach Walters, who was a ninth-round pick in the 2010 draft.
