Despite repeatedly saying he wouldn't waive his no-trade clause, Cubs third baseman Aramis Ramirez hinted after yet another loss on Thursday that he may be open to a change. "I knew that was coming," he said when asked about rumors. "You (media) guys talk about that, but no one had come forward from the team and said, 'We want to trade you,' or this and that. That's only in the media. "(General manager Jim Hendry) hasn't talked to me about trading me. Or, who's that other guy — (team President Crane Kenney)? Or the Ricketts' (family)? Nobody has talked to me (to ask) about if I'm willing to waive my no-trade clause." So Ramirez is willing to waive his no-trade rights if the Cubs ask? "Nobody wants me, man," he said with a laugh. "They want good players. Nobody wants me. If they come to me with a trade, we'll see."
