Angels rookie Mike Trout will remain with the team. "This is what I've wanted to do since I was a kid. Now I have that opportunity and I'm having fun with it," Trout said before Friday's game against the Orioles. He was promoted from Double-A Arkansas on July 8. The Angels activated Peter Bourjos after Friday's 6-1 win over Baltimore, sending Alexi Amarista to Triple-A Salt Lake City. It was thought that Trout would be the one headed down since Bourjos is expected to start in center field tonight. But Trout's 2-for-4 performance was enough to keep him on what manager Mike Scioscia said would be a game-by-game basis. "Mike is getting more comfortable every game. You can see that," Scioscia said. "This experience is going to be very valuable to him as he blossoms in his major league career. You never know how long a look he will get right now, but he's definitely getting more comfortable and making the most of it. We're excited about it."
