Nationals prospect Bryce Harper, who was the first overall pick in last year's First-Year Player Draft, has excelled for Double-A Harrisburg after a recent promotion. Harper is hitting .357/.400/.357 with a pair of RBI and a stolen base in four games. He has walked once and struck out once as well. Prior to arriving in Harrisburg, Harper was playing for Class-A Hagerstown. He hit .318/.423/.554 with 14 home runs and 46 RBI in 72 games. Harper struck out 61 times, while walking on 44 occasions. Washington has said that they will not promote Harper to the Nationals this season.
