Barry Bonds wants nothing more than to pass Babe Ruth at home, and has one more chance before hitting the road again. Bonds went without a home run for his fifth straight game, going 0-for-3 with a walk and a run in the Giants' 4-1 victory over the Rockies on Saturday night. He remained at 714 home runs a week after hitting his last homer, and is one from moving past Ruth and into sole possession of second place behind Hank Aaron's 755. Giants manager Felipe Alou hoped Bonds would play in Sunday's series finale before the team heads to Florida for three games followed by three against the Mets in New York. "My plan is to put him in the lineup," Alou said.
