Marlins shortstop Hanley Ramirez says that manager Edwin Rodriguez is not to blame for the team's struggles as of late. Rodriguez has received a lot of criticism during the skid, which has seen Florida lose six in a row and fourteen of fifteen this month. "Definitely, I'm on his side," Ramirez said. "I've got his back, till the death, man." Ramirez says managers and coaches often are handed too much of the blame. "Everything [Rodriguez] is doing is good for the team," Ramirez added. "I'm never complaining about anything he does. He's a pretty good guy and a pretty good manager. He's smart. "When we do good, people look at us. It's us, they say. When the team wins, everybody wants to give credit to the players. When we don't, everybody wants [to blame] the manager. That's not the way it is."
