Derek Jeter will not travel with the Yankees to Chicago and Cincinnati for a six-game road trip that begins on Friday. Jeter, who was placed on the 15-day disabled list with a calf strain on Tuesday, will instead travel to Tampa to remain under the care of team doctors while he rehabilitates the injury. Yankees manager Joe Girardi said "most" of the Yankees on the disabled list are going to Tampa. "I can't tell you exactly what will happen there. Let's just get him healthy first and then we'll see what happens," Girardi said. Jeter is just six hits shy of 3,000 for his career.
