In almost a footnote within a report about New York's displeasure with Derek Jeter and his comments on Jorge Posada, Buster Olney of ESPN.com revealed just how upset the Yankees were with the catcher-turned-designated hitter. "The team's front office was so angry with what Posada did that they considered releasing the veteran immediately," Olney wrote on Monday.
