He came to the Red Sox hoping to garner at least 300 at-bats while spliting time with Kevin Youkilis at first base. At the current pace, J.T. Snow will be lucky to get to 100 at-bats on the season. "J.T.'s the ultimate professional," Snow's agent Dan Horwits said. "He realizes the guys playing in front of him are doing great. If he was playing more, he wouldn't have a problem. But the fact is, he's not playing at all." For Snow, 38, the best-case scenario would be to get traded to a contender. He spent the previous nine years in San Francisco but doesn't have a preference as far as remaining in the American League or going back to the National League, Horwits said. "He enjoys playing the game and he's not playing," Horwits said. "Hopefully he can go to a team that's contending and it works out for the Red Sox as well."
