The Braves waited more than two weeks for Jair Jurrjens to make his 2011 debut, but the wait was worth it. Jurrjens pitched seven shutout innings against the Mets on Saturday, leading Atlanta to a 4-0 victory. He certainly didn't provide any indication that he was making his first start since Sept. 14. He missed the final two weeks of the 2010 season with a torn meniscus in his right knee and the first two weeks of this season with a strained right oblique muscle. "Seven scoreless [innings] in your first game after coming off the DL, that's way more than you can ask for," Eric Hinske said. "He's good, and he's proved it over the years. That's going to be a main cog in the middle of our rotation."
