The Rays will open up a three-game series against the Red Sox in Boston on Monday.
It will be the first time they see Carl Crawford, who the Red Sox signed as a free agent, in another uniform live.
Crawford, who was drafted 52nd overall by the Rays in 1999, spent his first nine seasons with Tampa Bay.
"Yeah, I think it's going to be a little weird playing in Boston with C.C. playing in left field instead of [for] us," the Rays' Ben Zobrist said. "It will definitely be weird."
Crawford signed a seven-year, $142 million deal with Boston this winter.
