Jake Peavy reported no issues after a 59-pitch simulated game at the White Sox's spring-training complex in Arizona. Peavy had a setback late in the spring while recovering from surgery to his latisimus dorsi muscle, when he developed rotator cuff tendinitis. "I do feel a lot better going through this process," Peavy said. "The throwing sessions and the treatments with anti-inflammatories have a lot to do with this." Peavy will make his next start Friday with Double-A Birmingham. His goal for that outing is 75 pitches and five innings. "I look forward to the rehab starts and having more adrenaline," he said. He'll make at least one more minor league start before rejoining the White Sox.
