Jamie Moyer still hopes to pitch next season, but the left-hander will join ESPN as an analyst for the 2011 campaign. Moyer, 48, had Tommy John surgery on his pitching elbow in December. He was pitching in the Dominican Republic in winter ball when he was injured Nov. 6, his third start, after missing the second half of the 2010 season with an injury. "I'm excited about the opportunity to work at ESPN," Moyer said in a statement. "It's a new challenge and I look forward to this forum as a chance to elaborate on the art of pitching as I rehab from injury this season. I hope to get back on the diamond in the future."
