A decision has finally been made, Giants closer Brian Wilson isn't yet healthy enough to pitch. He will start the season on the disabled list with a strained oblique muscle on his left side. Wilson, who has been dealing with tightness in his back, underwent a successful bullpen session on Tuesday, marking the first time he has thrown off a mound in nearly two weeks. "He felt great today," manager Bruce Bochy said. "I'm very encouraged with his progress, and we'll decide tomorrow his next move. I don't think he'll start the season with us, but it's good to see him feeling good, and he's letting it go." San Francisco can backdate his stint on the DL, meaning he won't have to miss the first 15 days of the regular season.
