The Washington Nationals placed right-hander Zach Day on the 15-day disabled list after MRI results showed he had a broken right wrist.
"The fracture is so small - the crack in the bone is so small - that he was able to go out there and do it," Nationals head athletic trainer Tim Abraham said. "Now we know why it's still sore."
