Mets outfielder Jeff Francoeur has informed the team that he wants to be traded if they aren't going to play him. "We want to play every day," Francoeur's agent, Molly Fletcher, told the Newark Star-Ledger. "We prefer to play in New York. But if we're not going to play every day in New York, we absolutely welcome the opportunity to play every day somewhere else." Francoeur's days with the Mets are numbered regardless. He is eligible for arbitration and is expected to be non-tendered by the Mets.
