Rays outfielder Desmond Jennings drew a lot of hype in 32 games with Triple-A Durham last season, but he hasn't produced quite as well in 2010. Jennings hit .325/.419/.910 in 114 at-bats for the Bulls at the end of the 2009 season. He drew 19 walks against 15 strikeouts and stole 15 bases. This season, Jennings is hitting .276/.348/.749 for Durham in 88 games (322 at-bats). He appears to have lost some of his plate discipline. He's struck out 56 times and walked on just 32 occasions. Jennings has stolen 28 bases for the Bulls. Tampa Bay drafted Jennings with the 289th pick (10th round) of the 2006 First-Year Player Draft.
