In a survey of MLB general managers, Brian Sabean was criticized frequently in the most surprising way. Several GMs complained that Sabean is very difficult to get on the phone and won't return phone calls. "It's just flat-out disrespectful to not return a call," said one GM. Some GMs don't even attempt to contract Sabean, instead calling assistant GM Bobby Evans.
