The Yankees' position on free agent Roger Clemens hasn't changed since early February: If Clemens wants another stint in pinstripes, the club is eager to listen. With the United States out of the World Baseball Classic, Clemens has to decide his future. He has hinted at retirement, but after pitching well in the WBC, some believe he will return for another year. The Rangers, Red Sox, Yankees and Astros (who Clemens can't pitch for until May 1) have expressed interest. "We have interest in him if he is interested," Cashman said yesterday just as he did in the offseason. "The ball is in his court. If he has interest, we have interest back."
