The Yankees will soon decide how to approach the next phase of the Phil Hughes Rules. New York has guidelines for a plan that could give Hughes, who was moved back into the starting rotation this season, two weeks of extra days off from now to July 20. The days off would be spread out over the next six weeks and wouldn't be as noticeable as the ones given to Joba Chamberlain last season. "That is all up to Joe and Dave," general manager Brian Cashman said. "They know just like last year with Joba what the limits are."
