Mariners outfield prospect Dustin Ackley, the second overall pick in last June's First-Year Player Draft, is hitting just .195 for Double-A West Tennessee. Ackley has looked better the last few weeks, hitting .265 with four RBIs in his last ten games, but he's still below the Mendoza Line for the 2010 season. He hit .315 for Seattle in the Arizona Fall League, but has struggled mightily against left-handers. He's hitting just .129 against them with four hits and nine strikeouts in 31 at-bats. Ackley is also hitless in his last three games, but has drawn three walks.
