Nationals pitching prospect Stephen Strasburg doesn't know when he'll be called up to the majors, but he explained why he's ready to ESPN's Baseball Tonight. He talked about the four pitches in his repertoire. I've got a standard four-seam fastball," Strasburg said of a pitch that he can get up to 100 mph. "I throw kind of like a slider/curveball hybrid. I take a little bit off, it comes more out like a curveball. I definitely try and overpower it down in the zone, more like a slider," said Strasburg, who added that he's comfortable throwing the pitch at any point in the count. "I've got a two-seam changeup. I like to throw that down in the zone," said Strasburg, who believes his changeup has gotten better since he left college. "I've got a sinker that I like to mix in there, too. It's kind of like a one-seamer. That's kind of an easy ground-ball out, right there," he continued.
