Marlins center fielder Cameron Maybin strained his left groin during the eighth inning of the team's loss to the Cardinals on Sunday. He was injured while stepping on third base as he tried to score from first on a double by teammate Donnie Murphy. Maybin says he is sore and he hopes it is "just a day-to-day thing."
