Billy Buckner had a rocky 2009 season, but it ended with him posting a 3.93 ERA in 36 2/3 innings for the Diamondbacks in September. "I took the opportunity to learn from the starters last year," he said. "I'd sit in the dugout with them and talk about the other guys pitching at the time. I learned a lot. I feel like I can take each little bit and apply it to what I do." Now, Buckner looks to be the favorite for Arizona's fifth starting spot heading into the 2010 season.
