The Twins announced late Thursday night that they had agreed to terms with second baseman Orlando Hudson on a one-year, $5 million contract. Hudson, 32, batted .283 last season for the Dodgers, with nine home runs, 62 RBIs and a .357 on-base percentage. He also was the National League Gold Glove winner at second base. "He's a proven player," Twins general manager Bill Smith said. "He's been an All-Star. He's a four-time Gold Glove winner, and we're excited to have him in this organization and he's going to help make us a better team."
