With Jason Bay and Marlon Byrd signed and Matt Holliday seemingly close to a deal with the Cardinals, the market for free-agent Johnny Damon may finally come together.
Damon, 36, is reportedly looking for a two-year deal and doesn't want to take a pay cut from what he made in New York last season.
He hit .282 with 24 home runs and 82 RBI in 2009. He tied a career-high in homers.
