The Phillies signed pitcher Roy Halladay to a three-year, $60 million extension with a chance to make another $20 million in 2014. According to the Philadelphia Daily News, the option for the 2014 season isn't guaranteed. The final year of the deal will only become vested if Halladay pitches a combined 415 innings in the 2012 and 2013 seasons, including at least 225 innings in the final guaranteed year of the contract. Halladay has pitched at least 225 innings in each of the last three seasons.
