While the Yankees continue to monitor the Roy Halladay situation in Toronto, they could take a flyer on either Ben Sheets or Justin Duchscherer. Yankees general manager Brian Cashman is looking to add at least one more starter from outside the organization. New York has CC Sabathia, A.J. Burnett and Andy Pettitte as solid members of their rotation. In addition, the Yankees tendered contracts to Chad Gaudin and Sergio Mitre and they have Phil Hughes and Joba Chamberlain as well.
