Michael Young wants the next owner of the Texas Rangers to be committed to winning. "Whoever gets the team is doing it because they want to see this team win, otherwise they're not going to get involved," Young told the Star-Telegram. "Whoever comes out and gets the team knows that we had a productive year last year and we're getting better. So, hopefully, that owner can be the guy to push us forward, push to make us better." Young has been with the Rangers since 2000. Texas had the 22nd-highest Opening Day payroll in 2009.
