Torey Lovullo, turned away twice for promotions by the Indians this off-season, has been named Boston's new Class AAA manager at Pawtucket. Lovullo was a finalist to replace manager Eric Wedge, but the job went to Manny Acta. Lovullo was then a candidate to be the infield coach/third base coach on Acta's staff, but the job went to Steve Smith.
