The winners of American League's Gold Gloves were announced on Tuesday afternoon. White Sox pitcher Mark Buehrle, Rays thirds baseman Evan Longoria and Orioles outfielder Adam Jones all won their first Gold Glove. The World Champion Yankees had two winners -- shortstop Derek Jeter (his fourth) and first baseman Mark Teixeira (third). The remaining winners were Twins catcher Joe Mauer (second), Tigers second baseman Placido Polanco (second), and outfielders Torii Hunter (nine) and Ichiro Suzuki (nine). RealGM Note: In terms of UZR/150, Kendry Morales (1B), Cesar Izturis (SS), Adrian Beltre (3B), Franklin Gutierrez (OF) and Ryan Sweeney (OF) had better marks than Teixiera, Jeter, Longoria, Hunter and Suzuki respectively.
