The Red Sox are open to giving pitcher Josh Beckett and catcher Victor Martinez extensions, but talks won't happen soon. "We haven't started that process with anybody," said Boston general manager Theo Epstein, "If we do, it's probably something that happens after the sprint of the trade and free-agent season, and that's in six weeks or so."
