Billy Wagner's agent has refuted reports that the closer is leaning towards retirement. Wagner is 15 saves short of 400 for his career. The New York Post reported Tuesday that when asked where he might play next season, Wagner said: "I don't plan on talking to nobody." When asked if that meant he would retire, Wagner reportedly said: "Why wouldn't I? I've got nothing else to [accomplish]." Agent Bean Stringfellow told the media on Wednesday that Wagner is far from retiring. "He wants a ring and he did not do all that rehab just to quit now," Stringfellow said. "His family supports him fully."
