Phillies reliever J.C. Romero will have surgery Wednesday to repair the flexor tendon in his left forearm.
He'll need five to six months to recover from the procedure.
Romero went 0-0 with a 2.70 ERA in 21 games for the NL East champions.
He served a 50-game suspension this season for testing positive for a banned substance.
