Red Sox pitcher Jon Lester was struck on the right knee with a line drive on Friday night, but X-rays have come back negative. The line drive came off the bat of the Yankees' Melky Cabrera in the third inning of New York's eventual 9-5 win over Boston. "It looked terrible; it sounded terrible," Red Sox manager Terry Francona said after the game. Lester walked off the field with the help of some teammates and was able to bend the knee while dressing himself soon after. "After what we saw, it was a big sigh of relief," Francona said. "It's pretty positive that he's going to be OK." Lester says he won't miss any time.
