Bidders that are looking to buy the Texas Rangers have had talks with Nolan Ryan about joining their investment group. Ryan, the team's president, told the Dallas Morning News that he has had conversations about becoming a minority owner with Chuck Greenberg, a sports attorney from Pittsburgh. "I've visited with Chuck Greenberg several times when they were in the process of looking at the organization," Ryan told MLB.com. "There is a possibility I could be involved. Right now, I'm in the mindset of waiting for this thing to develop. It's still in the early stages."
