Cubs outfielder Alfonso Soriano will have surgery on his left knee either Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday of this week. The procedure will clean up some fragments that have come loose in his knee area, and will be performed by team surgeon Dr. Stephen Gryzlo. "I'm going to stay with the team and rehab the knee," Soriano told ESPN.com. "I'm going to stay with the team trainers, and work on getting the knee strong. Then, I'll go to the Dominican Republic after the season ends and do a lot of leg work, [and] be ready for next season."
