The Mets received good news on the progress on injured stars Carlos Beltran, Billy Wagner and Carlos Delgado. Beltran shagged fly balls on Monday for the first time since going on the disabled list with a bruised right knee. "I think it's progress because I didn't feel it all the time," Beltran said of pain in the knee "and I ran in the pool today, like six miles per hour, and I didn't feel anything. It's getting better little by little." Wagner worked a perfect inning in his second minor league rehab appearance. In addition, Delgado took batting practice on the field for the first time since undergoing hip surgery.
