At the current rate of negotiations, it is looking likely that Roy Halladay will remain with the Blue Jays. Toronto general manager J.P. Ricciardi had established a flexible deadline of Tuesday to get a Halladay deal complete, but the team is no closer to trading their ace. Halladay is scheduled to start for the Jays in Seattle on Wednesday. "It doesn't matter if it's today or tomorrow or Friday or next week," Ricciardi told Yahoo! Sports. "Nothing is close. Nothing is happening."
