Padres second baseman Edgar Gonzalez remained hospitalized Sunday night after he was hit in the head with a pitch on Saturday.
Gonzalez didn't suffer any skull fractures or a concussion, but was complaining of dizziness and ringing in his ears.
"They might do the same tests again, sort of a follow up just to make sure," San Diego manager Bud Black said. "There's a lot of good signs."
His return is uncertain at this point, and he doesn't have 100 percent of his hearing back.
